Na Pali Coast

The stretch of coastline past Hanalei is without a doubt the jewel of Kauai and perhaps the entire Pacific! The seven-mile journey winds through luscious valleys and past stunning beaches before ending at the famed Na Pali Coast.

We take you on two day-trips in this area during the week. The first is to hike part of the Na Pali coast. It’s a medium-in-diffculty, 2-mile trail that ends at a great beach and river. Along the way you’re going to see some seriously amazing views of the coastline's iconic "cathedrals"! Cameras are a must.

Another day we will visit other beaches: Ke’e, Tunnels, Lumahai, and Haena Beach are as good as it gets. You can swim, snorkel, catch some rays, watch the surfers, or even take a quick hike.

Na Pali Facts

Once densely inhabited by native Hawaiians, the Na Pali coast is now a haven for hikers, kayakers and boaters who appreciate its rugged, remote beauty. The movie South Pacifc made Na Pali and Hanalei world famous and since then over 50 hollywood films have been shot in the area. The Na Pali cliffs are the second highest and fastest eroding sea cliffs in the world! This rapid erosion creates the dramatic beauty that makes this area of Hawaii a must-see.
