Surf Camp Staff
Name: Andrew
Jobs: Chef, Designer, Web Dude, Founder
Story: "I'm originally from Louisiana; I came to Hawaii a decade ago to surf and I've been here since. I grew up first in my mothers kitchen and later in my family's small town creole restaurant. After years of island influence I'd say my style of cooking has morphed into a healthy blend of French, Hawaiian and Southeast Asian cuisine. When I'm not cooking for surf camp or surfing, I'm probably working on our website or designing a t-shirt. Hawaii is an awesome place for food and I'll be sure you eat all of the fresh seafood, plus we'll check out the local food at different spots around the north shore."

Story: its a secret
Surf n Sol started when Andrew and Christine crossed paths on the North Shore of Oahu. He had been looking for a way to channel his creative abilities while maintaining his surfer lifestyle, and she was in a fresh, new direction after just finishing an intensive stretch of yoga training and saying goodbye to the 9 to 5. They believed they would make a good team and Surf n Sol's surf camp was born.
Andrew was living on Kauai and thought it would be a great location for the camp. The north shore's epic scenery, Na Pali coast, and great surfing makes it the perfect place for travellers. Kauai is truly a tropical island paradise.
With a patiently brewing original style and apparel coming soon, Surf n Sol aims to provide a new look for the beach, the street and the mountain. Stay tuned.
